The Scuba MAR Maids Dive School officially launched in 2024 with a clear mission: to deliver exceptional scuba training in a fun and nurturing environment tailored for women.

Not only do we offer premium scuba training, but we’ve also developed supplementary workshops to bridge any knowledge gaps.

Our community emphasizes safety, empowerment, and camaraderie, creating a welcoming space where you can confidently take risks and embark on adventures as a solo traveler.

You will cultivate lasting friendships with women of diverse backgrounds and ages, all united by a shared passion for the ocean and personal growth.

We uplift and encourage one another, building a network of travel companions and mentors that continues to inspire and motivate us throughout our scuba diving adventures.

Our scuba retreats are long weekends created for women who want time to focus on diving, learn new skills and enjoy the experience with a supportive group.

You may be learning to dive for the first time, taking your next certification, returning after a break or simply wanting more practice. You do not have to arrive feeling completely confident. That is what the weekend is for.

We keep our groups small so you can ask questions, practice without pressure and receive support from instructors who care about helping you succeed.

• Additional instruction. If you need extra help to keep up with the class, you will need to hire a private instructor (if possible)

Please note: This is a group diving trip, instruction will be given as a group. We keep classes small to allow for thorough instruction.

If you require personalized support or cannot keep up with the class, a private instructor can be provided to you for an additional cost.

Certification/completion of the course is not guaranteed. If you cannot complete the requirements during the retreat, we will outline your options and provide all training records needed to continue training at another location.

Booking Information

Reservations & Payments

• A $500 non-refundable deposit per person secures your space
• Deposit is due within 2 days of receiving your invoice
• Payment plans are available
• Your invoice will include your full payment schedule
• Final balance is due 6 months before liveaboards and select international trips, or 3 months before most other
trips

Travel & Arrival

• Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated hotel, boat, or meeting point on time
• Missed arrivals or early departures do not qualify for refunds
• If you miss the scheduled airport transfer, you are responsible for arranging and paying for alternate
transportation

Insurance

• DAN dive accident insurance, or equivalent coverage, is required
• Please keep your insurance card available offline during the trip
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended

Diver Experience

• Open Water Course (new divers): no prior dive experience needed! You will start from the beginning.
• Advanced Open Water Course: an Open Water Diver certificate from any accredited dive agency is required.
• Rescue Diver: Advanced Open Water Certificate from any accredited dive agency is required

Guests must be 18 or older on the first day of the trip.
