Maira was the kind of trip leader who makes you instantly feel taken care of, super prepared, totally on top of logistics, and somehow still the chillest person in the room. Her mentorship made me a more confident diver, and her actual dive skills were unreal. She kept the whole group steady and safe without ever making it feel like instruction. Our Mozambique dives were a dream, and the two day Kruger safari she organized went off without a hitch. Everything was smooth, fun, and full of those “how is this real life?” moments. When people talked about a trip of a life time they must be on a Mar Hosted Trip. Maira, the owner, plans every trip to the highest degree. This trip did not fail that expectation. We dove in three different regions of Mozambique and did a safari in Kruger Park. My bucket list to see the BIG 5 animals is now checked off. Lunch and dinner were not included but great places to eat were suggested. If I could I would rate this more than a 5. VERY inspirational, personalised service but what strikes me the most was the friendly and highly professional nature of the trips and its owner maira.. always available for anything the group needed. ARRANGED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE TRIP and with such detail. Amazing trips amazing people and above all else we arrived as gusts and ledt as family. Cabo Pulmo 11/2025 - another 5-star dive trip with MHT. The diving was spectacular. Accommodations, food, airport transfers, and every other detail was carefully planned and executed. It’s always been a dream of mine to be Open Water Certified. I made that happen this past week with Scuba Mar Maids in Roatan, Honduras. The trip and dive school experience was wonderful! I made new friends, enjoyed a very peaceful and fun experience, and learned to dive! Had the absolute best experience with Scuba MAR Maids in Roatan! Shev was a fantastic, down to earth, fun, and professional trip leader! All of the hotel staff, dive shop staff, and dive guides were also incredible. Traveling solo as a woman is scary enough without knowing much about where you’re going and who you’re going with, and being with an awesome group of women made that so much less scarier! Had the most incredible first trip to Roatan, Honduras with Scuba Mar Maids! As a solo traveler, and beginner diver, I felt super welcomed and comfortable on this trip! The ladies, the lodging, the scuba, the island, were all amazing! I am already looking at which trip i want to take next :). Highly recommend - if you're thinking about it, DO IT!
