Joined Mar Hosted Trips for their 5th Anniversary Dive Trip to Malaysia — staying on the SeaVentures Rig and diving the Coral Triangle, including Sipadan. Every detail was handled flawlessly: airport transfers, accommodations, diving, meals, entertainment, an educational talk from a TRACC speaker, and an incredible professional photographer. I left with forever memories, new lifelong friends, and an even deeper love for diving. This was my 4th trip MHT and just like the previous trips, it was a memorable experience. I was fortunate to be part of the 5th anniversary trip to Malaysia on the Seaventures oil rig. I have been traveling with Mar Hosted Trips for two (!!!!) years now and each adventure continues to reinforce why. From liveaboards to safaris to a repurposed oil rig, each trip is packed with unique experiences, the coolest women and organized so well that it’s a proper vacation. The diving is always top notch (part of all the planning, Maira knows where to go!) and It helps that you build a community through these trips so you’re always coming away with new friends and booking the next one with them. It's always so well planned/ thought out - the trip hub, the whatsapp group and the shared drive for photos are some of the useful 'features.' I just returned from my most recent trip (Roatan), which was led by Tamara (who I actually met on a previous trip as a fellow guest!). I just returned from my first solo dive trip with Mar Hosted Trips and have just signed up for my next one. That should say it all!❤️ I was a little apprehensive to book a solo dive trip. My husband no longer dives and I was eager to get back in the water. I am SO glad that I booked the Cuba trip! The diving was incredible and the atmosphere was even better. I just returned from a liveaboard scuba diving trip to Cuba with Mar Hosted Trips, and it was exceptional. This was my second trip with them, and they continue to impress. I’ve been on several other liveaboard dive trips, and this one truly stood out. Maria planned everything perfectly—nothing was left to chance. Communication was clear and consistent from start to finish, and the entire experience had such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. What really sets this group apart is Maria’s passion. WORLD CLASS DIVING, MEANINGFUL CONSERVATION, AND A WELCOMING COMMUNITY OF ADVENTUROUS DIVERS I’ve taken a few dive trips with Scuba Mar Maids and Mar Hosted Trips so far — including Socorro and most recently Cuba — and every one has been outstanding. The trips combine incredible dive destinations with a welcoming, environmentally conscious community of divers. The group supports all types of travelers, including solo divers, women traveling alone, divers of all different age brackets, and divers of different experience levels (depending on the trip requirements). I traveled solo to Cuba and immediately felt part of the community. Socorro was unforgettable — Pacific octopus, manta encounters, shark cleaning stations, and even friendly dolphins joining our dives. Maira is an exceptional trip leader: open, kind, safety-focused, and deeply committed to marine conservation. She is also a natural teacher and does a fantastic job guiding divers through logistics that might otherwise feel complicated. The trips are reliable, well organized, and full of interesting, thoughtful people who care about the ocean. I’m already planning more adventures with them — including two weeks diving Palau next spring. Highly recommend Mar Hosted Trips for anyone looking for world-class diving and a wonderful dive community.
